‘Tis the season for being grateful and giving thanks. But, why limit appreciation to only this time of year?
For some people, gratitude flows freely. They understand and feel the benefits of expressing appreciation for life and everything that’s in it. For others, gratitude can be more challenging, especially during difficult or stressful times.
For me, being grateful and appreciative is a cornerstone of my being. I feel a sense of joy for the people and things around me. And according to research by Robert A. Emmons, Ph.D., being grateful is essential to life, particularly to help & to heal. I must agree with Dr. Emmons on this.
The truth is, “life” happens to us all. Sometimes it’s good; sometimes it’s not so good. Regardless of what’s happening in my life, below are 50 things for which I am grateful.
